“To the new executive committee, led by our incoming Chairperson, Dave Mutebi: Congratulations on your election. You are taking over leadership at an exciting time, but with it comes great responsibility. The alumni body relies on your creativity, transparency, and dedication. While we have achieved a lot, much work remains. One pressing project we deeply wanted to execute but must now pass into your capable hands is the improvement of the school’s healthcare facilities, specifically equipping and upgrading the school sickbay. The health and well-being of the current pupils is critical, and I urge your team to prioritize this vital task. Furthermore, one of our major challenges was our inability to kick-start the alumni subscription fee system. Establishing this regular stream of revenue is absolutely critical, as it will provide the sustainable funding needed for the day-to-day running and administration of the alumni association. I urge your team to prioritize setting up this structure, so you have the financial foundation to bring both the sickbay project and future initiatives to life.” Bugembe urged.
