ABU DHABI, 22nd April — United Arab Emirates (UAE) President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation with his brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco.

During the call, they discussed the deep-rooted fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation, particularly in developmental pathways, and ways to advance them toward broader horizons that serve the mutual interests of both countries and promote prosperity for their peoples.

During the call, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing fraternal consultation and coordination, as well as enhancing cooperation and joint action between the two countries in light of the challenges facing the region.

His Highness and His Majesty the King of Morocco also discussed several regional and international issues of common concern, foremost among them the developments in the Middle East and their serious implications for regional and international security and stability.

They further addressed international maritime security and the global economy, exchanging views on these matters.
