We should see our sports men & women continue to benefit in different sports intellectual properties, He added.
Be part of the conversation and amplify the voice of IP in sports, said report.
Okaka Jeremiah also senior official at the URSB, revealed how trademarks, patents & copy rights can make sports men & women super stinking rich.
“All sports federations & clubs have different logos that distinguish them from others as a requirement by the National Council of Sports but however most clubs and federations are not registered with URSB which is risky and lacks legal protection,” said Kakungulu Allan also Assistant Commissioner in charge of Trademarks at URSB.
As we advance sports development, it is important to recognize, protect, and leverage IP as a key driver of growth and value, said Commissioner Intellectual Property, Robert Mugabe.
