Maroons Football Club has strengthened their squad ahead of the new season with the signing of right-back Kevin Ssekimbega from FUFA Big League side CATDA FC.
Ssekimbega has penned a two-year contract with the Uganda Premier League outfit, marking another important step in his football career.
The experienced defender arrives with an impressive background, having previously featured for Express FC, Makerere University FC, and the Uganda Kobs rugby side before establishing himself as a reliable performer at CATDA FC.
Known for his defensive discipline, work rate, and ability to contribute going forward, Ssekimbega is expected to add quality and competition to the Wardens’ backline as they prepare for the upcoming Uganda Premier League campaign.
Everyone at Maroons FC will be hoping the right-back settles in quickly and plays a key role in the club’s ambitions for the new season.
