Ahimbisibwe leaves Lugogo as the reigning 2025/26 Uganda Premier League Golden Boot winner, having enjoyed a sensational season in front of goal that established him as one of the country’s most prolific forwards.
His impressive performances attracted interest from clubs outside Uganda, with Zhako SC winning the race for the highly-rated marksman’s signature. The move represents another significant milestone in the striker’s career as he embarks on a new challenge in Iraqi football.
The transfer is also a testament to KCCA FC’s ability to develop and showcase talent capable of earning opportunities on the international stage. During his time with the Kasasiro Boys, Ahimbisibwe played a key role in the club’s attacking setup and consistently delivered crucial goals.
