Have you studied from the old tradition schools including the St Mary’s Kasasa, St Mary’s College Kisubi, Namilyango College, Gayaza High School Girls, Kings College Budo, Busoga College Mwiri, St Joseph’s College Ombaci, Nabumali High School, Uganda Martyrs Namugongo, Old Kampala S.S, Mvara S.S, Ntare School, Makerere College, Gayaza High School, MaryHill High School, Kigezi High School, Nyakasura School, then we have the clash of the titans golf tournament coming up this weekend, Saturday, 12th Sept 2026 at Uganda Golf Club & the grand finale on the 10th Oct 2026 at the Entebbe Golf Club.
Kings College Budo won the first edition in 2022 & St Mary’s Kisubi (SMACK) did it in 2023 while Ntare School championed in 2024 & SMACK carried it again in 2025.
Bweranyangi Girls won the ladies’ top title in 2024 and 2025.
“The Clash of Titans golf championship has continued to grow to social network and build lasting school memories.
This year’s golf tournament is proudly powered up by several corporate companies including Hima Cement as the lead sponsor with others including CFAO, Pepsi, MTN Momo, Kenya Airways, John Walker, Farmers Choice, Bugiri Sugar,I & M Bank plus others.
Proceeds from the clash of the titans will be channeled to schools to develop the game of golf through the Uganda Golf Union (UGU), said Paul Nuwagaba also Board chairperson Uganda Golf Club.
This championship comes barely a week after the climax of the prestigious Johnnie Walker Uganda Golf Open series that was played at the UGC in Kitante, Kampala.

Schools have now grown to 21 including Ntare High School, Kigezi High School, & the Uganda Martyrs Namugongo & over 300 players are to grace this year’s golf tournament with two legs in both Kampala and Entebbe.
This is the second edition as UGC to host the clash of the titanics & we have prepared the course for show dust with the old boys & girls from different traditional schools including Mvara Secondary School,Nabumali High School, & Old Kampala Secondary School.
