The 2025 Kinyara Sugar Invitational Squash tournament will take place from the 22nd to 27th September 2025 at Kampala Club Limited.
The main sponsors of this tournament, Kinyara Sugar Limited boosted the tournament with a double increment of the sponsorship package from Ug.Shs 15,000,000 to Ug.Shs 30,000,000.

This package was officially unveiled on the afternoon of Monday, 15th September 2025 at Kampala Club Limited.
“Kinyara Sugar Limited is excited to associate with Uganda Squash Rackets Association for the Kinyara Sugar Invitational. We are here to promote sports talents within Uganda. We look forward a long-term relationship” Sekhar Veedhi, Kinyara Sugar Limited marketing director stated.

Over 100 players from Uganda and the neighboring countries will compete for top honors in either gender.
Uganda Squash Rackets Association (USRA) president John Bosco Tamwesigire Ahimbisibwe promised a great championship, showing the level of readiness for this tournament that will also have the best players from Kenya as James Dalidi, Joseph Sean and Jane Njeri among others.
“Kampala Club Limited is ready to host the best Kinyara Sugar Invitational Squash tournament. We shall have international players and the best prizes await the outstanding performers” Tamwesigire stated.
Big players:
The crop of players has Paul Kadoma, Ivan Wasswa, Jonathan Wegamire, Michael Kawooya, Elizabeth Musimenta, Julian Ainomugisha, Joelia Mpomba and others.
The players who reach the quarter finals will have a bargain on the Ug.Shs 8,000,000 cash kitty.
Besides cash, there will be other prizes as sugar, medals, certificates and trophies.
The organizing team is constituted of Hon. William Byaruhanga (chairman), Victor Odongo, Michael Kawooya, Timothy Kayondo, George William Kasekende and Cornelius Engwenyu.
