After a period of one season at the historical club Express Football Club, striker Sam Ssenyonjo moves on as he will find a new place to call home.
In a social media post the striker expressed gratitude towards Express for the opportunity it gave him and love during his stay at the club.
He was Express’s top scorer last season with 12 goals helping the club finish 10th in the Uganda Premier League.

Ssenyonjo is a former Uganda Hippos striker who broke the scene with KCCA FC in the 2019/20 season.
He was loaned by the Lugogo club to now relegated side Wakiso Giants in 2021/22 but later joined Soltilo Bright Stars where he spent two (2) good seasons.
His next home is yet to be known with various media outlets stating he rejected trials at a one Ghanian club Asante Kotoko.
