Over 150 players are expected to participate in new Kabaddi Open League launched on June 29th at Ridgeway School in Matugga.
The league has six teams confirmed participation as the Uganda Kabaddi Federation taking a major a major step towards the growth of the sport in the country.
The league is ear-marked to start on Sunday 6th July 11 a.m. to 3 p.m and continue through other Sunday’s.
The league shall be played on round robin gathering at Ridgeway School per matchday.
This League will be played for six months with three weeks break in between the two halves of the season with half last for three months.
Kabaddi sport is one the first growing sport in Uganda and globally connecting schools, institutions and local communities.
