ROARING COW: Kampala Mp Nsereko threatening to ‘uproot’ Mr. Museveni taking tea cup

Outing Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko is climbing ladders and threatening to throw out Uganda’s longest serving president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa out of office.

The announcement came during the party’s national delegates’ conference in Entebbe, where delegates endorsed him unanimously.

Muhammad Nsereko has joined the Ecological Party of Uganda and been elected its president, positioning himself as the party’s presidential flag bearer in the 2026 general elections.

“We promise to make this party the largest and most progressive nonviolent and non sectarian party in the country”, revealed Mr. Nsereko.

“We must now commit ourselves to a transformative journey that puts people and the planet at the centre of governance”, he added.

Nsereko revealed that his first priority is to expand the party’s presence across country and said his team will immediately embark on the National registration drive to register members and establish grassroots structures nationwide.

In 2021, Muhammad Nsereko also independent candidate garnered 16,998 votes and won the heated Kampala elections while Bobbywine ‘s big bro Fred Nyanzi Sentamu lost the battle front with one 15, 957 votes.

The late Ndilima Cedric Babu scored 10,749votes on the NRM party ticket, Kaija Harold Scandronne of FDC party bagged 1679votes and on the tail was Mukasa Ronal Edward bagged only 1653votes.

At the start of the year, Al-Hajji Nsereko Muhammad declared that he wasn’t returning to contest as the Kampala MP after holding the post for three terms since 2011, when he joined parliament as an NRM member.

His announcement to run for the highest office in the country has attracted mixed reactions on whether he “uproots” the incumbent, Sir Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuharwa one of the gorilla warriors across the African continent with 40yrs of serving Ugandans in the East African region.

It is no rumor anymore that Kampala Central Member of Parliament, Al-Hajji Nsereko Muhammad will be running for presidency in the 2026 general elections and his son to the late Alhajji  Abdul Nsereko.
