ENTEBBE 2026: Masaazi lights up candle on NUP flag to throw out Mp Mbwatekamwa

Aspiring Entebbe municipality Member of Parliament, Robert Masaazi has raised a red flag under the NUP party  and  warming up to throw out his rival Mr. Micheal Kakembo Mbwatekamwa from politics

 

Masaazi will be among the list of candidates waiting to pack Hon. Michael Kakembo Mbwatekamwa Salongo’s bags back home after serving one term in office.

 

Masaazi will be battling with several others including John Mugabi Socrates, Shaka Stephen Gashaija, Stuart Lubwama, Nabatta Joyce and Juma Mukasa plus others in the coming general elections.

 

Masaazi is a conservative and communist who believes in uplifting humanity from a humble background with lots of books on his head including two bachelors on  his head.

 

He was born by both Mr. Muwanguzi Nehemiah and the late Nabacwa Magrette Namusisi of Entebbe in 1983.

 

He started his educational journey from Nkumba primary school in  early 1990s before  joining St. Maria Gorretti Katende for his junior secondary and Entebbe SS in 2002.

“While at school, I led different peaceful demonstrations at Katende S.S.S when they abolished ‘shorts’ for the O’ level students and at Entebbe SSS, blue &white belts and tight shorts while at Buloba SSS, quality of food” Masaazi recollects.

Masaazi has served in different capacities as a teaching assistant at Entebbe SS and Boston high school before joining UNWFP as logistics officer, Consultant under Coronet consults, Collateral inspector under AFGR Group (SA), Consultant Fli (DR Congo) before retiring to active politics in 2021 as a aspiring parliamentarian for Entebbe Municipality.

Masaazi has participated in lots of policies including where farmers need to have prior contractors with buyers of their commodities before planting.

 

Today farmers use poor inputs because they are not guided by off-takers and in the contract everything is spelt out as farmers also have crop insurance in case of natural disaster, noted Masaazi

 

Masaazi is a family man with two boys and four girls plus being the executive director of the Maila Group dealing in Agricultural warehousing.
