Uganda regional football associations and Special Interests groups has confirmed representatives at FUFA Assembly while North East got hold to elect.

This come to cause seven of the eighth regions confirming representatives ahead of the FUFA extra general Assembly coming in October this year on its returning to Hoima city.

Following the suspension of the election in North East, FUFA Electoral Committee chairman Mathias Bwire lighten up on the matter.

“We have had successful elections across all regions except in North East where we received reports of breaking our electoral code and we decided to suspend the election with immediate effect until further notice after looking into the case then we will fix it again”Bwire stated.

Now with the elections at Regional football Associations are almost done, soon we will be turning on the nominations for the top sit in the federation”

On of the key election on hot sit was in Buganda, Kampala region where Hajji Abdul Lukooya Ssekabira and Norman Ssembatya Kaboggoza won the elections to represent Buganda region Zone 3 and Kampala regional clubs.

In special interests groups there was only one group which had to vote for their two delegates where Dr Taibu Azah and Margaret Kubingi Fatia won to drop Honorable Florence Bagunywa Nkalubo for Women’s representatives slots at the assembly.
