RUBiS Energy Uganda has announced a major push to strengthen its nationwide footprint, combining the launch of UltraTec advanced fuel technology withnew service stations, expanded convenience retail, Castrol lubricant service bays and upgraded facilities designed to deliver a better experience for motorists, businesses and boda boda riders.
Under the “Choose Better with UltraTec Fuel” campaign, RUBiS is rolling out advanced fuel technology designed to clean engine deposits, improve performance, support better mileage, reduce emissions and help customers save money.
The launch reinforces RUBiS’s wider investment inretail transformation, following the rebranding of most stations to strengthen visibility, consistency and customer access to the company’s growing offer.
The company has also added 10 new service stations to its network: RUBiS Nabbingo, Naluvule, Nakirebe, Lyantonde, Busabala, Kulambiro, Kasangati, Kisoga, Namusera and Masaka Bypass.

“Our growth is about much more than opening new stations. We are building a stronger RUBiS brand across Uganda while making our products, services and customer experience better and more accessible. We are glad to now have nationwide coverage to support industries, transporters and emerging economic hubs,” said William Fillet, Managing Director of RUBiS Energy Uganda.
RUBiS has also established 18 Castrol bays, giving customers easier access to specialisedlubricants and related services within its stations.
Dedicated Castrol Power 1 boda service pointshave been introduced for riders seeking oil-change support. The service responds to a key transport segment that plays an important role in Uganda’s mobility and commercial activity.
The company now operates30 RUBiS Enjoy shops, with five more under construction. These stores extend the customer offer beyond fueling and support a more convenient stop for everyday needs.
Together, the upgrades are helping transform RUBiS stations into destinations that respond to daily customer needs.
Facility improvements, including upgraded customer toilets, further support a cleaner, more consistent station experience.
To build the capabilities needed for this growth, RUBiS has unveiled the RUBiS Training Excellence Centre at RUBiS Nabbingo, a practical learning environment focused on retail operations.
The centre will support standardised training in customer service, safety and operational excellence through practical visual learning and simulations.

“The Training Centre reflects another important part of our growth strategy. A growing network needs the right people, skills and standards behind it,” William Fillet added. “We are investing not only in stations and products, but also in people and their capabilities to ensure customers receive a consistent and impressive RUBiS experience wherever they meet our brand.”
H.E. Virginie Leroy, Ambassador of France to Uganda, who was the guest of honour at the event, welcomed RUBiS’s continued investment in Uganda, noting that the company’s expansion demonstrates the value of long-term business partnerships between France and Uganda.
“RUBiS’s continued investment in Uganda is a positive demonstration of the role responsible private-sector investment can play in supporting economic activity, creating opportunities and delivering better services to communities,” she said. “Through the UltraTec ‘Choose Better’ campaign and various solarization projects, I appreciate RUBiS Energy’s initiatives to reduce carbon emissions.”
With more than 75 service stations, RUBiS Energy Uganda is continuing to strengthen its position in the country’s energy and retail landscape.
Together, the investments position RUBiS Energy Uganda for its next phase of growth by pairing modern fuel technology with broader retail services, wider coverage and higher service standards.
