Kyadondo S.S Matugga defeated Mbale city’s Nkoma S.S 2-1 during the round of 16 contest at the 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Boys football in Lira city, Northern Uganda.
Kyadondo S.S joined Amus College School, London College Nansana and Buddo S.S to the quarter-finals.
Amus College School ejected Mentor SS 1-0 at the Dr Obote College playground with Ivan Okello on target.
The early kick off at Dr Obote College playground witnessed the cup holders Buddo S.S defeat Kawempe Muslim S.S 2-1.
Ambrose Aboy scored a brace for Buddo S.S whilst Ukasha Kimbowa got the consolation for Kawempe Muslim.
London College Nansana endured a goal-less stalemate after normal time to win the shoot-out 4-2 past Mbale Progressive Secondary School.
Quarter final match ups:
Kyadondo S.S will face Buddo S.S as Amus College School shall take on London College Nansana in the quarter finals on Sunday, 17th May 2026.
On Saturday afternoon, four more matches at the round of 16 will be completed to confirm the remaining slots to the quarter finals.
A new trophy was officially unveiled on Thursday, 14th May 2026 and will be handed over to the champions after the final on Tuesday.
