Aspiring parliamentarian, Albert Fredrick Mukungu is walking door to door and begging for votes to represent the people of Entebbe municipality in the house of lords.
This UK based medic and son to the late Sulpiso Ssemakula Semogerere & Mildred Semogerere Nakku is walking places and places with new political ideas including equipping the youth with modern technologies ,youth exchange programs,$100 per poor family,improved health care plus others in his manifesto.
For the last couple of months, Mukungu has proved a household name in preaching the gospel of being the next parliamentarian after kicking out the incumbent parliamentarian, Micheal Kakembo Mbwatekamwa from office.
Mukungu is one of the new political hybrids with new generational ideas including donating over 500 ipads to poor families, 500 beds to hospitals, health insurance to the elderly and other services once voted into office.
It’s no surprise why Mukungu is walking in his father’s foot step despite living in the Diaspora and now eyeing to represent the people of Entebbe.
Mukungu has a great voice to represent the people of Entebbe despite coming late on the political scene and arena.
He will be contesting against several others including the incumbent parliamentarian, Micheal Kakembo Mbwatekamwa, NRM party’s Stephen Gashaija, former Entebbe mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul, NUP Joyce Namuli Nabatta, Independent Irene Nantumbwe,Independent Scholastica Najemba plus others in the coming general elections ,scheduled of next week.(By PEACOCK KAWEESA & Agencies)
