Aspiring Mayor Lwanga Musisi Gusuza has been missing on the political scene for the last couple of years.

Lwanga has bounced back on the political skyline after his books at the University of Toronto.

Lwanga also former guild president at the University recently jetted back in town after doing his master’s and PHD at the University of Toronto.

Shanxs Idolla will be contesting for the mayoral race in the coming general election to up root the incumbent Fabrice Brad Rulinda, now seeking for another in office.

Lwanga Musisi Wakayima has expressed interests to contest for the mayoral seat on the National Unity Platform ticket after getting the party stamp.

In 2015, the former NRM party parliamentary aspirant reported a case of theft at Entebbe police after thugs breaking into his office and walking away with his items.

Word from the corridors has it that the Canadian based legal practitioner will be contesting against several others including the Richard Ssekyondo, Habib Kashillingi Byamukama plus others we are yet to identify on these pages.

Wakayima has organized a lengthy program for the jobless youth, the elderly men and women, developing business incubation hubs, promoting the girl child amongst others

Others have ‘chickened’ out from active politics including deputy mayor Charles Kabwama while Stanley Namayirira Kapeere is tight lipped over his political position to bounce on the NUP ticket.

Meanwhile, outgoing Div ‘B’ chairperson Richard Ssekyondo is the talk of town after quitting the Democratic Party and joining the National Unity Platform following his personal difference with the DP party president Sir Nobert Mao.
