The Gulu Tusker Lite city marathon is back this weekend and it’s gonna be bloody in the Northern corridors with lots of fun and great moments featuring Ugandan female singer Azawi.
It’s gonna be fun with lots as runners from different walks of life running around the whole from Kaunda grounds to all happening spots.
The marathon will show case Gulu’s rich cultural diversity from the local food to the music to the traditional Acholi dance, said Francis Gimara also Gulu City marathon organizer.
This spirit of resilience that has seen the city transform from a place of conflict to a peace loving city is a unique journey worth celebrating, said Francis Gimara during the press conference on Wednesday morning at the Kampala Club.
Denise Nazzinda also Brand Manager for Tusker Lite at Uganda Breweries Limited, said the collaboration between the Gulu marathon, highlights the brand’s commitment to supporting active lifestyles and uniting people through shared experiences.
“The Tusker Lite Gulu City marathon goes beyond fitness and creating unforgettable experiences plus preserving our cultural heritage, said organizers.
The marathon will be crowned with revelers dancing whole night to experience Gulu’s vibrant nightlife with exciting musical performance from Ugandan female singer Azawi.
Tusker Lite will light up the evening with lots of drinks , great music plus babes of all sizes and color from the Northern connection.
Several corporate companies have partnered to support this year’s marathon event including Equity bank, Kystal water ,Swangz avenue, Buzz events including Uganda Baati that has injected shs100M.
