The upper Eastern region is set to hold their elections on Sunday 13th July 2025 at Home Again guest house in Kumi Municipality.
The association that is undergoing changes from leadership to its branding (Eastern region to upper Eastern) is under the stewardship of Vincent Ingurat.
According to reliable sources this election is anticipated to be a tough one based on the discussion on who is going to be leading 15 district that make up the upper Eastern.
“At the moment the invitation letter been sent to the different stakeholders a head of the elections and there to people who have shown interest in chairperson position (Ingurat Vincent and Onyait Stephen), according to the regional secretary Emmanuel Ekarach.
He also informed the region that the position of Chairperson, vice chair, secretary, treasurer, vice technical, athletes’ representative are the position ready for election whereas appointed position will include: Head of referees, Mass media, coaches’ representative, schools commission, regional representative, and tribunal.
The elections ahead is set to keep and bring fresh brains and potential candidates in leading the regional association of volleyball to greater heights.
