TECNO procured a sizable number of match day tickets for Uganda Cranes fans at 2024 CAF TotalEnergies CHAN double header matches at the Mandela National Stadium, Kampala.
The fans donned in the TECNO branded colourful blue shirts and made a statement during the two games involving South Africa and Algeria in the early kick off before Uganda tussled Guinea.

The TECNO sponsored fans easily mingled with the rest of the spectators in the general stands as were also engaged in the cheerful wild cheering, constant drumming, dancing, chanting and passionate singing of patriotic songs.
Uganda Cranes’ famous lead cheer leader Abdallah Byaruhanga was also not left out of the party.
Byaruhanga was accompanied by his cheering team of fans, all painted in the treasured Uganda national flag; Black, Yellow and Red with the TECNO brand also on the fore of the stomach.

In the first match on match day two at Namboole stadium, South Africa rallied from a goal down to earn a point during the 1-all draw with Algeria.
For the second match played under floodlights, Uganda Cranes staged a gallant performance winning 3-0 over West Africans Guinea.
Goals from Reagan Mpande, Allan Okello (penalty) and super substitute Ivan Ahimbisibwe spurred Uganda Cranes to victory, to earn maximum points and ascend second on the table log.

Uganda Cranes returns to action on Monday, 11th August 2025 to face Niger at 8 PM. The first game on the evening shall witness South Africa take on Guinea at 5 PM.
The fans once again await the generous offers from TECNO for commentary tickets on Monday.
