Over ten angry traders have ganged up and dragged nine local councilors plus government officials to the Equal Opportunities Commission desk in Kampala over the mess at Kitooro taxi park in Entebbe municipality.
Magyezi Dennis, Malengane John, Seggane Richard Daniel, Byamungu Matabaro, Sebuufu Peter, Murungi Alex, Nkalubo Micheal, Mayiga Margaret, Ntundubaire Francis, and Nassanga Prossy have run the Equal Opportunities Commission after missing out on acquiring lock up spaces and stalls at the government owned facility
The disgruntled traders have dragged the Entebbe Municipal Council authorities and nine councilors to court after failing them to acquire lock ups and spaces at the new government taxi park.
Nine councilors including Yasin Semanda Kyeyune,Kitoogo Asadu,Mirembe Jackie,Ssewakambo Innocent,Kikomeko Twaha,Mutebi Nyansio,Bawonga Ahmed Kasawuli,Richard Ssekyondo also Div ‘B’ chairman,Wandera Mangeni Lovie also Kitoro taxi park chairman plus Entebbe Municipal Council have been dragged to the Equal Opportunities Commission after acquiring lock ups and stalls at the Kitooro taxi park.
The assistant town clerk Aidah Namanya has been tasked to produce these local councilors by the 15th May 2025 after being implicated by the disgruntled traders that missed out on lock ups and stalls allocation following an MOU signed 2017 with Entebbe Municipal Council.
The town clerk Aidah Namanya represented her senior boss, Mugisha Emmanuel Gacharo also summoned by the Equal Opportunities Commission to file his defence.
The Entebbe Municipal Council has been implicated with councilors after grabbing lock ups and stalls at the Kitooro taxi park despite the well signed memorandum of understanding the government now bleached and turned useless.

The town clerk Emmanuel Mugisha Gacharo has been given an ultimatum to produce all councilors and government officials that acquired lock ups and stalls in a fishy way.
Meanwhile, these councilors are running up and down with paining heads after dishing them prime lock ups and spaces at the Kitooro taxi park using their dirty fingers. (Watch the Space)
