CBS radio news correspondent George William Kakooza is set for the mayoral race against long serving former democrat in Katabi town council.
Kakooza will be riding over Giovanns Basamulekere Kalema’s nose pin in the coming general elections for the mayoral race after doing all the political donkey work.
It’s now official that news ‘man’ will be contesting against several others including one John Paul Nsubuga, Kikomeko Julius, Mawanda Derrick plus others we are yet to identify on the ballot paper.

Kalema has served the electorate for the last couple of years and now seeking for another term in office after warming up the seat for 10yrs.
The former Nkumba university guild aspirant kicked out his former boss Gerald Wilson Mukasa to the dust bin on the Democratic Party ticket & hijacked his office keys.

Kakooza is saying ‘this is not enough’ per say after warming up the seat for 2 terms & taking back his former boss Mukasa to the village on sweet nothings.
Kalema is promising to empower the girl child education, improve health care systems, road networks plus other services in the coming office term.
The battle for the NUP ticket for Katabi Town Council mayorship has attracted several candidates including Journalist Kakooza, Emmanuel Ssali Mugerwa and Charles Kalema plus others we are yet to identify on the ballot paper.
