Airport clearing agent Muddu Henry is contesting for the Kasanje town council mayoral seat in the boiling general elections for 2026.
Muddu will be standing for the first time in heated politics after his late brother Mutume Sempa passed on before accomplishing his dream of becoming the mayor of Kasanje town council, now limping to climb to city status.
It’s now official that the promising fire fox will be nominated this coming, Thursday at district electoral offices after laying down his 10point program to change the face of Kasanje to national map, says manifesto.
Muddu has walked over 20 villages and promised to deliver better than the incumbent Mayor Gayiira, now under hot seat.
Muddu has sparked thunder and warned to uproot the incumbent Mayor Gayiira that has not delivered to the electorates under the National Unity Platform ticket.
Reports have indicated that the incumbent Mayor Gayiira has frustrated lots of their developments including women groups and politics.
During a recent meeting at Kasamu trading center, Muddu promised to support the Twezimbe women group under the chairman of Nagujja Joan.
The women group has over 50 members and was started last year in 2024 with a mission to support the women.
Muddu’s manifesto highlights the need for access to clean water, business development, supporting the girl child, modern taxi park & market plus others.
