On Thursday, 23rd October 2025, Hon. Galabuzi Mpologoma will officially be nominated among the candidates to contest for the seat of Member of Parliament (MP) in Busiro South Constituency, Wakiso district.
Hon. Galabuzi is expected to stand as an Independent candidate but National Unity Platform (NUP) leaning.
“All is set for my nominations on the 23rd October 2025 to be among the candidates to contest for MP seat of Busiro South” Hon. Galabuzi remarked.
For starters, Hon. Galabuzi is a reputable public health administrator.

His agenda for the people of Busiro South is bent along the different platforms of Health, education, cooperatives and sports promotion.
“I want to further improve upon the health standards within Busiro South. We need fully equipped medical facilities which can be affordable to all the people. The same applies to education. There is need to better education amentities, front technical schools. Also, through my wide-network of friends, I want to lobby for the people of Busiro South at every given opportunity” Hon. Galabuzi who is a resident of Bwerenga reveals.
Lobbying:
Hon. Galabuzi puts it straight that Busiro South needs a well connected gentleman of his stature; ready to lobby using his connected chain of friends in the Diaspora countries as Sweden, Norway and across Europe.
“Through my chain and network of human resource, I have established a viable platform over the years to brainstorm ideas and share knowledge. In here, lobbying remains pertinent for further development of our country and Busiro South in particular.” He highlights.
Hon. Galabuzi points to good measures of waste management and improving upon roads among his must key priorities.
Qualifications:
Hon. Galabuzi holds a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of East London, United Kingdom. He also has a Degree in International Environment and Development Studies from the University of Oslo, Norway.
The incumbent Hon. Charles Matovu retained the NUP ticket and will definitely battle with Hon. Galabuzi alongside other candidates for the MP seat.
