Hon Micheal Kakembo Mbwatekemwa is spitting venon and roaring like tiger after rivals threatening to kick him out of office in Entebbe.
It’s now official the Hon Mbwatekamwa walking door to door and picking up his missing pieces after falling out from the National Unity Platform and joined another clique.
Mr. Mbwatekamwa is fully recharged to take his rivals not stepping including NRM party candidate Stephen Shaka Gashaija, NUP candidate Joyce Namuli Nabatta, former Entebbe Mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul, Independent Scholatica Najjemba Baguma, Independent Albert Mukungu plus others we are yet to identify.
The incumbent parliamentary has promised his supporters to bank him for another term in office,come 2026.
Hon Mbwatekamwa has assured his rivals to back off and give him one more term in office to accomplish his manifesto and other programs still pending.
Mr Mbwatekamwa is more than energized to represent the people of Entebbe better than others who have just joined politics in the recent years, he revealed while speaking to media during the flopped parliamentary debate at the Flight motel in Entebbe.
The flopped parliamentary debate attracted a lukewarm reception with only three candidates including two Independent candidates, Albert Mukungu and Scholastica Najjemba Baguma that attended in person.
The parliamentary debate was organized by Entebbe one media group and supported by parliamentary aspirants.
Several parliamentary aspirants including Joyce Namuli Nabatta, Vicent Kayanja Depaul, chickened out of the debate following several communications by the organizers.
Kakembo walked to parliament on the NUP ticket and started ‘eating’ his own words like his colleagues.
He apologized to the people of Entebbe for being rare in the community in his first tenure saying it was not his wish but he had a lot of engagements in the parliament which are beneficial to his constituency.
‘It’s on record that I’m the best legislator to serve the people of Entebbe & under the Mbwatekamwa Foundation, I have helped many needy children to get free education plus scholastic materials.
I have a number of achievements in my first tenure including giving out text books to all schools in Entebbe, offering free tents ,plastic chairs to the community, offering bursaries to the needy students, giving out free coffee seedlings to farmers & offering public address systems among other things,said Mr Mbwatekamwa.(By PEACOCK KAWEESA & Agencies)
