Metropolitan International University students tipped on exploring different life opportunities

Students from Metropolitan International University have been encouraged to explore different opportunities in life if they are to succeed.
This was urged by Captain Arthur Mugisha Rucakatsi, also known as Bubu, pledged an annual contribution of five million shillings as he addressed the Bafumbira and Bakimbiri Students Association to support their development projects.
The remarks were made during the association’s handover ceremony held at the university premises.
The Mayor of Kisoro Municipality and the elected Kisoro District LC5 Chairperson, Richard Ndyana, who represented the Guest of Honour Captain Rucakatsi, revealed that the captain had committed to supporting the association with five million shillings annually for three consecutive years.

Ndyana added that, the Captain Arthur Mugisha Rucakatsi’s annual fund for three years will ensure continued support toward the development and growth of the association’s projects.
He also encouraged students to avoid fear and instead embrace new ideas and opportunities that can improve their lives and future careers.
Meanwhile, the outgoing president of the association, Fred Turyasingura, highlighted several achievements registered during his tenure and urged the incoming leadership to build on the foundation already laid.
At the same event, the Dean of Students in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Metropolitan International University, Bernard Byaruhanga, commended the Bafumbira and Bakimbiri students for their discipline and academic performance.
Byaruhanga noted that members of the association have maintained a positive reputation and have never been involved in acts of chaos within the university.
