The skill set to mobilize people for any given activity at hand is God-given and a product of sheer diligence.
This often necessitates hours injected in the planning process, favorable working conditions, ample time and financial resource.
All these aforementioned factors were at play for the coordination team for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s rally in Wakiso District held at the Works Playground, Entebbe Municipality on Monday, 5th January 2026.
This rally arrived barely 10 days to the long-awaited presidential and general elections day on 15th January 2026.
The big mammoth crowd that turned up at the Works playground in Entebbe Municipality handsomely rewarded the diligent efforts of the mobilization team for the incredible planning and work execution.
Coordinator Entebbe and Makindye Ssabagabo Division Hon. Jovia Namaara Tugume, in conjunction with the Entebbe Mayor His Worship Fabrice Rulinda commanded a great deal of work.
“We pulled off a successful rally. I give credit to the rest of the working team on the mobilization docket as well as the security agencies for the work well done. I thank the spectators of NRM who turned up to show support to the party presidential candidate, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. I still urge them not to forget ticking President Museveni on the D-Day and the bus for all NRM candidates” Hon. Tugume asserted.
From the countless meeting, sleepless nights, endless phone communications, up and front movements, the end product paid off.
The pre-rally activation right from Makindye through Kajjansi to Entebbe on the eve of the rally was a timely awakening mechanism for most people.
On the rally day, hundreds of spectators thronged Works playground as early as 6 AM. There was a lot of entertainment from the leading artists in the country and speeches from various party leaders before President Museveni arrived.
The President’s message of peace and wealth creation was pronounced aloud before he handed over the party flags to the respective flag bearers.
