Miss Uganda Natasha Nyonyozi will be featuring at this year’s Kids of Africa ‘fun run’ scheduled for next weekend,7th/Sept/2025 along the Entebbe road.
Nyonyozi will be championing the ‘Gild Child’ campaign on Menstrual health and sanitation.

At the Sheraton Kampala Hotel press conference on Thursday, Natasha Nyonyizi and corporate companies joined hands to support this year’s ‘fun run’ for a great cause following lots of success stories on empowering the vulnerable children including the ‘Girl Child’ in Uganda.
Every year, Kids of Africa organization organizes ‘fun runs’ to raise proceeds in supporting the local communities including health and education.
Last year, 586 runners participated in the Kids of Africa fun run and enjoyed the fan-day, said Daniel Ssettuba report also Race director.
“We thank all our sponsors who have been supporting “kids of Africa- Run” since 2011 and kept us going this long”, added Ahmed Mwesige Sulyman report.

Over 100 children have passed thru the hands of “kids of Africa” and improved their lives, revealed report.
“Last year we approximately reached and trained 600 pupils both girls and boys from 12 primary schools in Wakiso, Luwero, Kiryandongo and Aleptong districts”, said a report.
“We have also setup a modern production workshop for sanitary and reusable menstrual pads at the Kid of Africa village”

This year’s objective is to reach out to 1000 girls and boys in public schools with Miss Uganda Nyonyozi walking the talk of supporting the ‘Gild Child’, said Kids of Africa director Tage Budolfsen.
“I want to thank the local organizing committee for the Kids of Africa run that has helped raise funds towards the improvement of the welfare for the girl child”, added Mayor Kalema Bassamulekere.

This year;s fun run has been supported by several organizations including Yako Bank, Sembeza Africa, Divine esthetics salon bridal center, Kisubi Hospital, I&M Bank, Sheraton Kampala Hotel, Roko, Multisports, MAERSK, DHL, The Lake side, MMAKS Advocates, Kids Pioneer primary school, Sai Pali Institute of technology and management, Flora events, Katabi Town Council, Basamulekere Foundation plus others, said report.
