Aspiring Entebbe municipality Member of Parliament, Jovia Namaara Tugume is spinning the ball in her hands and bitterly waiting to be pushed to the national parliament.
Namaara has been now baptized by the electorate as “Masanyalaze” loosely translated as high voltage electricity.

The NRM beautiful yellow bird is proudly walking the talk of hard politics and ready to kick out Hon Michael Kakembo Mbwatekamwa out from parliament after his fall out with the NUP principal Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu also Uganda’s ladies’ wine.
She is fully charged up to contest for the Entebbe parliamentary seat in the coming general elections, scheduled for 2026.
Namaara will be facing one Stephen Shaka Gashaija in the NRM party primaries before getting to the front line to interface several others including Hon Micheal Kakembo Mbwatekamwa (NUP), Mugabi John Socrates (NUP), NUP Robert Masaazi, DP’s Juma Kikomeko plus others we are yet to unveil on the political scene in Entebbe.

She will be kicking the ball in her hands to the frontline under the NRM flag to oust fire spitting Member of Parliament Michael Kakembo Salongo out of parliament in the coming general elections.
Namaara will be having a cutting edge, if she plays her cards good following a list of angry politicians waiting to hijack the same seat from the National Unity Platform.

She remains a key advocate of the underprivileged in communities as women, fishermen, bodamen, traders in markets, the youth and the small scale majority.
This has shown some green light the NRM party is pushing hard to the bone marrow to reclaim its top seat it formerly owned by the former NRM Mp Rosemary Tumusiime Bikako.

The Entebbe Mp seat has been previously been run by several other parliamentarians including Dr David Matovu (NRM), Hon Muhammad Kawuma (DP) and Rosemary Tumusiime Bikako (NRM).
We have highly established that Hon Mbwatekamwa’s chances of sneaking back into parliament are on a thin lane after lots of criticisms of not serving as expected and also failing to share the national cake with the locals that pushed him to parliament.
