Major projects are bound to be completed, and others work are still ongoing.
Some are to be launched this month under the GKMA -UDP Funded by the world bank with the aim of improving institutionally capacity and infrastructural development geared towards improving connectivity and accessibility in Entebbe Municipality and the surrounding areas.

In a recent monitoring Exercise, which comprised of Entebbe Municipal Development Forum Members (MDF) lead by the President Rev Julius Matova.
The Joint team comprising of officials from Wakiso District, Katabi Town Council and GKMA -UDP toured and Monitored the Renovation of a Guard House at Nkumba shoreline protection and leachate Management at Nkumba Dumpsite Katabi Town Council.

Rev. Julius Matovu, the MDF President says, having a joint Monitoring with the technical teams in such projects helps our communities to know more about the ongoing projects in their areas especially on Matters pertaining to Environment “am impressed with the on-going project at this site which has been so controversy in the recent past since they are measures being taken now as MDF we need to offer our support to the authorities under taking this project especially Entebbe Municipal Council”.

Another key project monitored under MDF is the Removal of Asbestos at Lake Victoria primary school the project is complete.
Under the Greater Kampala metropolitan project, funds have been allocated by the world bank to construct 6.1 km of Ssebugwawo Abayita Ababiri Road, this project will take 3 years to be completed.
According to the Deputy CAO Wakiso District Mr. Godfrey Kizza Rwagduma, says.

Funds have been already allocated to start the construction of the 6.1 km road and a contractor by the names China Jiangxi International and technical cooperation company limited has been awarded the contract, “As a district we expect the contractor to start very soon, we need now to finalize with issue of
right of way ,giving consent by people staying near the project, you know this are world bank funded projects so there is no compassion in case we need to use your land for a project we need to engage you so that you give us right of way otherwise so far we have reached 80% of our targeted number which is not bad the project can start my only appeal is for the people to cooperate with the
contractors”.

Among the ongoing projects in Entebbe Municipality includes, construction of 4.3km of Kiwafu, 6.1 km of Ssebugwawo -Abayita Ababiri Road, Removal of Asbestos at St Theresa Primary School.
The construction of 3-unit staff house and rehabilitation of 2 staff houses at Kigungu Health Center three is complete, Renovation of 2 classroom blocks at Chadwick Namate primary school is also complete.
All these projects will be monitored by the Municipal Development Forum plus the technical team of Entebbe Municipal council under the GKMP-UDP with the support from the world bank for a period of five years.
