Fabrice Brad Rulinda also incumbent Entebbe municipality is bobbing shoulders and chest thumping after pushing his rivals to the dogs in the mayoral race.
The incumbent mayor last evening turned tables upside down after flooring his rivals including Micheal Kabwama Mutebi (NRM Independent), Richard Ssekyondo (NUP),Shafiq Sserwadda and Deo Lubwama in the heated mayor race for Entebbe municipality.
Fabrice Brad Rulinda scored 6704 votes while his rivals including Micheal Kabwama Mutebi (2746 votes),Richard Ssekyondo (2630 votes) , Omar Shafiq Sserwadda (301 votes) and lastly Deo Lubwama (46 votes).
The Wakiso district electoral officer, Tolbert Musinguzi declared Fabrice Brad Rulinda as the winner for the Entebbe mayoral race in accordance to section 147 of the Local Governments Act, cap 138.
Fabrice Brad Rulinda scored with a big margin of 3958 votes against his closest rival Micheal Kabwama Mutebi.
We have highly established that the total number of votes where 12427 while the total number of spoilt votes where 27 and the rejected votes where 187.
Rulinda has promised to work with all the people of Entebbe including different political parties for the development of Entebbe
