The presidential and general elections coming up in 2026 shall witness a tense moment across the country.
Different personalities are vying for various positions of leaders.
Kamuli Municipality is privileged to have the son of the soil Eng. Godfrey Mugoya among the leaders aspiring leadership positions for the upcoming epoch 2026-2031.

Eng. Mugoya is eagerly eyeing the Member of Parliament seat for Kamuli Municipality.
Leaning on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket, Eng. Mugoya has a rich agenda for all; males and females, the youth, elderly, poor, middle income and the rich.
“I want to front advocacy for our rights” he opens up on his agenda for the people of Kamuli Municipality.
“I also want advocacy for improved education system, infrastructural improvement like roads, economic empowerment and reduction in over-taxation for our people” he adds.
At the moment, he is traversing the entire Kamuli Municipality with a door-to-door campaign as he preaches his manifesto to the people.
He is favorite to win the NUP ticket in the primaries before facing off with other parties in the main election.
