As the 2025 Rugby Africa Cup heads to Kampala (8th to 19th July 2025) at Mandela National Stadium, the continental and global rugby enthusiasts will keep a keen eye.

In a bid to lure as many spectators as possible at the gigantic sports facility, the Uganda Rugby Union (URU) ought to consider moderate ticket prices.

Ticket prices should not exceed Ug.Shs 10,000 during the preliminary rounds.

For the final, the tickets should not exceed Ug.Shs 20,000.

Due to the fact that most of the matches will be held during ordinary working days of the week, few busy people will be willing to pay Ug.Shs 30,000.

The only mechanism is to lower the ticket prices and attract big crowds.
