Buganda Region Football Association has elected Hajji Abdul Ssekabira Lukoya over Sam Mpiima in deciding regional representatives at FUFA Assembly.
In the elections took place at FUFA Complex on 30th April 2025, Ssekabira won by 27 votes to 20 earning a return to the assembly after missing in the last term.
After winning the election, Hajji Ssekabira fronted unity; “At this moment politics at regional level is done, now it is time to work for the game, we are all winners and we are still important to the game”.
Mpiima has been a member of the FUFA Assembly for the passed five terms while Hajji Ssekabira only missed the 2021-2025.
This has come as the moment of Nationwide regional football associations electing for delegates to FUFA Assembly.
