The Forum for Democratic Change party vice chairperson for Buganda, Yusuf Nsibambi, has formally joined the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.
During a meeting with NRM officials at the party headquarters on Wednesday in Kampala, Nsibambi castigated the opposition parties, accusing them of misleading the youth and lack of direction.

He was received by the Speaker of parliament Anita Annet Among and the NRM secretary general Richard Twodong.
The capture of Nsibambi to the ruling party underscores NRM’s efforts to consolidate their power in authority.
Recently, Nsibambi and 16 other opposition leaders visited the Entebbe State House and held a high profile meeting with the head of state President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa.
