Bulemeezi have officially parted ways with head coach Leo Ssekamate after only two matches in charge during the ongoing Masaza Cup campaign.
The decision comes in the wake of Bulemeezi’s defeat to Mawokota on Sunday, a result that intensified pressure on the coaching staff following a difficult start to the tournament.
Ssekamate managed to collect just one point from his opening two matches, a return that fell short of the county’s expectations in one of Uganda’s most prestigious football competitions.
The early dismissal highlights Bulemeezi’s determination to revive their campaign before it slips further away, with the county now expected to move quickly in appointing a replacement capable of steering the team back to winning ways.
The Masaza Cup is renowned for its fierce competition and passionate support, leaving little room for poor results. Bulemeezi’s management will now hope that a change in leadership can spark an immediate turnaround as they continue their quest for success.
