A 45-year-old woman has been arraigned before the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Mitooma over allegations of aggravated child abuse involving her 8-year-old stepson.
The suspect, Juliet Tushabeomwe, is accused of forcing the minor to swallow 46 needles over a period of two weeks in a case that has shocked residents and child rights activists.
