Outgoing Nyendo Mukungwe Mp, Mathias Mpuuga is a bitter man and cursing like why he joined politics as a young man from the Buganda sub region.
The Buganda region political fox lost the recent general election under the Democratic Front party ticket as voters were hunting for new faces in the game of politics.
Many prominent politicians including long-serving lawmakers and top cabinet ministers were kicked out of politics nationwide.
Voters chose new political faces in different parts of the country& mostly in the Buganda region.
Many of these changes reflect a growing grassroots movement that has energized voters across demographics, particularly youth, who are dissatisfied with the status quo and increasingly motivated to effect change at the ballot box.
Mathias Mpuuga in Nyendo–Mukungwe was defeated by NUP’s Lubowa Ssebina Gyaviira, and Lutamaguzi Ssemakula in Nakaseke South lost to NRM’s Charles Nsereko and similarly, Asuman Basalirwa of Bugiri Municipality was defeated by NRM’s Francis Oketcho.
Voters chose this path of frustrating members of Parliament who have turned Kampala their home and cracking big deals while neglecting their voters’ needs and concerns which require parliamentary voice & discourse, said our snoops.
Meanwhile Mr. Mpuuga is having a paining head after his campaign mini van getting grounded in a motor garage and mechanics have turned it their ‘clothing wire’ after his defeat in the recent general elections where the NRM party scooped the juicy seats.
The mini van was sighted at a garage in Mukono where neighbours say it has spent days & nights bedridden#
