Alex Muhangi, a renowned Ugandan comedian, is organizing a comedy session meeting this Tuesday 4th October 2025 at Royal Suites Hotel in Bugolobi.
Given Alex Muhangi’s experience in creating and hosting successful comedy shows like Comedy Store Uganda, this meeting is geared to help regulate, provide great opportunity for comedians to hone their skills and network.
The primary professional body for comedians in Uganda is The Uganda Comedians Association (TUCA).
TUCA was officially launched in January 2020 (following its formation in early 2019) to bring all Ugandan comedians under one umbrella and address issues affecting the industry, but has since then been inactive hence no work has been done something that has raised several complaints from the Comedians.
