As President Yoweri Museveni Tibuhaburwa continues with the vote hunting campaign in the West Nile region and across the rest of the country, the various politicians; particularly from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) are offering a supportive hand.
On Monday, 13th October 2025, the president addressed two rallies in Madi Okollo and Arua city before thousands of loyal supporters at the Ajai stadium and Arua Golf Course respectively.
At Arua Golf Course, the Government Chief Whip who is also the Vice Chairman of NRM in Northern Uganda Hon. Dennis Hamson Obua lit up the campaigns with humor.
Hon. Obua, a keen sportsman used the football sport to illustrate how great President Museveni is as a player who has excelled by scoring three goals (Hat-Trick).
“If M7 was still an active player, he would score a hat-trick and he deserves to be rewarded. The goals he has scored include the restoration of sustainable peace; introduction of wealth creation initiatives and scoring the goal of development. He practices what he preaches’ Hon. Obua spoke before inviting the Speaker of Parliament to invite His Excellency the President.
“Obua with the ball, he passes it to Speaker Anita, It is Obua again. He passes to President Museveni, who squares it again, Museveniiiii goal, gooooooooaaaaaaaallll….” he commentated amidst wild cheers from the NRM supporters.
President Museveni’s manifesto is hinged along the theme “Protecting The Gains”.
The incumbent boldly underlined the peace created, investment opportunities and all the wealth creation strategies meant to help the people become self-sufficient.
