Vivo Energy Uganda, through its Shell Fuel Save Diesel and Shell Rimula brands, has been officially named the Official Logistics Partner for the 2025 Rugby Africa Cup, scheduled to take place in Kampala from 8th to 26th July 2025.
Organized by the Uganda Rugby Union (URU), the tournament will also serve as the African qualifier for the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
Throughout the event, Shell Fuel Save Diesel and Shell Rimula lubricants will power all team and operational transport requirements, ensuring seamless mobility for the eight participating nations: Uganda, Zimbabwe, Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Namibia, Senegal, and Burkina Faso.

As part of its fan engagement efforts, Vivo Energy Uganda will run a “Predict & Win” campaign throughout the tournament.
Spectators at each of the 13 matches will have the chance to predict the closest final score, with winners receiving 50 litres of Shell Fuel Save and an official replica rugby jersey, courtesy of the Uganda Rugby Union.
This interactive contest is designed to enhance the match-day experience, foster fan engagement, and demonstrate Shell’s appreciation for its community.
In addition, Shell sales kiosks will be available onsite during all four match weekends from the 8th to the26th July, to allow fans to learn about the wide range of Shell lubricants and Shell Gas products directly and enjoy exciting offers and discounts on purchase.
